Registered Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the assessment and treatment of soft tissue and joint dysfunction by Registered Massage Therapists — a regulated health profession in Ontario since 1991. Our RMTs work with stress, repetitive-strain injuries, headaches, prenatal needs, and recovery from acute injury.

A closer look.
Massage therapy is, in the language of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, "the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain."
That's a long sentence, but it matters. Massage therapy in Ontario has been a regulated health profession since 1991. Every Registered Massage Therapist completed a rigorous accredited program and is a member in good standing of the CMTO. RMT is health care, not a spa service.
People often assume RMT only addresses muscles. The training and scope go much further — RMTs work with stress and tension, repetitive-strain injuries, headache patterns, prenatal needs, post-surgical recovery, and acute injuries.
Your visit, end to end.
Plan on 45–60 minutes for your first appointment so we have room to take your history and treat. Wear something comfortable — your therapist will explain how draping works in Ontario and walk you through what's most comfortable for you before treatment starts.
Treatment is hands-on. Depending on what your body needs, your RMT may use Swedish techniques, deep tissue, cupping, manual lymphatic drainage, or cranio-sacral skills. You'll leave with home-care recommendations and, if appropriate, a follow-up schedule already booked.
Modalities our RMTs work with.

Gentle, light-touch technique used in post-surgical recovery, swelling, and immune support.
